Ini adalah set pertama dari satu siri empat set trading cards Coca Cola yang dikeluarkan oleh The Coca Cola Company. Set ini telah dikeluarkan pada tahun 1993 dan mengandungi 100 kad dan 8 keping kad "bottle-caps". Pelbagai imej dipaparkan pada muka depan kad seperti, imej pelopor (the founders) Coca Cola, trademark yang pertama, cardboard/paper signs, trays, soda fountain yang pertama, botol-botol dan tin-tin terawal, kalendar, dan bermacam-macam lagi. Selain itu, terdapat juga iklan-iklan dari majalah yang telah dihasilkan oleh artis-artis ternama seperti Norman Rockwell, Hamilton King, Haddon Sundlom dan lain-lain lagi. Dr. John S. Pemberton
On may 8, 1886, Dr John Styth Pemberton, an Atlanta pharmacist, concocted a caramel-coloured syrup in a three-legged brass kettle in his backyard. He carried the new concoction to Jacob’s Pharmacy in a jug where it was mixed with carbonated water and served as a “Delicious and Refreshing” drink for 5c a glass.

Historical: In 1886, sales of “Coca-Cola” averaged nine drinks per day. The first year, 25 gallons of syrup were sold. Gross sales amounted to $50 and Dr. Pemberton spent $73.96 on advertising.

Frank M. Robinson
Frank M. Robinson, Dr. Pemberton’s bookkeeper, is credited with suggesting the name “Coca-Cola” for the new soft drink Pemberton had invented. Mr. Robinson also created the unique flowing script that would become the world’s most recognised trademark.

In 1888, Asa Candler purchased a partnership in “Coca-Cola” syrup from Dr. Pemberton, who was in ill health. Dr. Pemberton died later that same year. On April 22, 1891, Mr Candler became sole owner of all rights to the formula for “Coca-Cola” syrup. His total cost for all rights including his initial investment was $2,300.
